Soothe it

Whatever your age or skin type, sensitivity can strike at any time in the form of redness, inflammation, itchiness or dry, flaky patches. Causes are varied and may be down to anything from genetics, stress and fluctuating hormones to UV light and a change in seasons or medication – even using the wrong cleanser can be a trigger. But looking after and improving a sensitive complexion can be easy… when you know how.

Light, gentle and mineral oil-free moisturising is an important step. Mask it

Sensitive skin is extremely susceptible to irritation but by strengthening its natural defences you can increase its resistance to further inflammation. Also featuring our new calming complex, DECLÉOR COMFORTING MILKY GEL-CREAM MASK is an intensive once or twice weekly home treatment that’s instantly cooling and soothes long term. As sensitive skin is so easily aggravated it’s always best to avoid touching your complexion too much; this also minimises the transfer of grime and other irritants. That’s why this nurturing and de-sensitising mask has a super-soft brush applicator built in. The brush feels feather-light on skin and has an ultra gentle action to delicately smooth the product over fragile complexions, exactly where you want it, to bathe skin in comfort. You don’t even have to risk upsetting skin further by rinsing the mask off with water (a process that’s often too harsh for reactive skins) as you simply leave the exquisitely silky formula to work for 5-10 mins then massage in the excess for a divinely velvety complexion.
