1. Smoothing
As we age, our skin's cell renewal rate drops by about 30% and is one of the main factors in the appearance of wrinkles. Retinol is one of the hottest anti-ageing ingredients around and hailed by scientists and press as one of the most effective anti-wrinkle agents. Retinol penetrates your skin's epidermis (or uppermost layers) to help repair and stimulate collagen and elastin. By encouraging cell production, it also increases your natural rate of cell turnover and exfoliation.
