Sally Stokes

Position: Head of Education at SHISEIDO

Sally originally joined the DECLÉOR side of the business as a Therapist at the DECLÉOR salon which was linked to the business at that time.

After 9 months Sally was appointed to the role of Training Manager for DECLÉOR. Sally stayed in that role for 10 years and developed herself as the role grew in line with company expansion. Over the years the role grew from Sally being the sole person in the department to having responsibility for 10 Trainers and Promoters.

Sally was also involved with the introduction of DECLÉOR to the QVC shopping channel during the 1990’s when she was a Guest Presenter.

Around 2002 Sally moved to the Marketing department for DECLÉOR and helped out with special projects, particularly copy writing for the DECLÉOR magazine newsletter and the website and also did some project work on the CARITA brand.

In 2007 Sally joined the SHISEIDO part of the business as Head of Education. Sally is responsible for the training of all the consultants in stores and training of therapists employed in SHISEIDO appointed spas in the UK.

Sally enjoys the SHISEIDO products which she describes as “amazing”. She loves the scientific technological research behind the products and as a Trainer for SHISEIDO says she is provided with so much product knowledge to pass on to her students she feels it really helps her to offer a very professional training and be passionate about her role.

One of the most rewarding parts of the role for Sally is to see the same beauty consultants grow and develop in their roles within the company as they attend further training sessions with her over the years.
